Personalized genetic counselling

Claire has worked for over 10 years to offer an empathetic and personalized genetic counselling service to her patients, in the areas of oncogenetics, prenatal and preconception. She spent several years in a fertility clinic, which allowed her to extend her expertise to the reproductive field. She is particularly dedicated to education and public awareness to improve access and recognition of the profession. In addition to her passion and enthusiasm for genetic counselling, she has another university degree in Bioethics and will soon complete a certificate in Prenatal Psychology. She has participated in numerous scientific conferences and continues to contribute to the training of new students in genetic counseling.

Andrea has over 15 years of experience in clinical genetics, first as a clinical genetic counsellor in a large university health center and later in sales and business development with a commercial laboratory. She has always been involved in teaching and believes genetics education in healthcare is essential. She is interested in the integration of technology in healthcare and in improving access to genetic services in Canada.

Dr. Gekas is a clinical, laboratory and research geneticist with expertise in fetal and reproductive medicine. He has over 20 years of experience in clinical genetics and lends his support to Genolife’s genetic counselling service.

Lynn has 10 years of experience as a clinical genetic counsellor working in a university hospital setting with a main focus on hereditary cancer syndromes. She has been actively involved in the training of genetic counselling students. She is passionate about genetics education, both in the public and healthcare settings, and is interested in exploring new service delivery models as the field of Medical Genetics continues to grow.

Pamela, with her many years of experience in customer service and administrative support, takes great pleasure in her role as administrative assistant at Genolife. She believes good customer service comes from being attentive, considerate, and empathetic and she brings these qualities to every interaction. She is bilingual and available to help answer our clients’ questions and assist with appointment booking and other administrative needs.

Thi has over 5 years experience as a clinical genetic counsellor working with a range of patients in the preconception and prenatal settings, both in the US and in Canada. He is passionate about advocating for patients and ensuring access to quality genetic services.

Naturally curious, Juliette has always had a strong interest in the sciences, particularly genetics. For several years, she has been volunteering with a Quebec-based organization that supports individuals affected by rare genetic disorders. Now holding a diploma in the graduate microprogram in medical genetics, she has gained extensive knowledge on the scientific, psychological, and ethical aspects related to the profession of genetic counselling. Passionate about this field, Juliette aspires to pursue a career in genetic counselling, with a deep desire to support patients throughout their genetic medical journey.

Experienced in management in the medical and pharmaceutical field, Martin Landry is the co-founder of Genolife.
